BURELA FISHERS GUILD HISTORIC ARCHIVE
|Description||Since 1923, when it was formalised as ‘Cooperative of Fishers’ , the Archive of the Burela Fishers Guild has been gathering the documentation that now lets us know the origins and evolution of the institution we see today.
The most important function of the guilds was to provide social assistance to their members, organise fishing, sell fish and improve the boats – all of which can be seen in the archive’s documents.
